Tiffany Yuen Ka-wai was the former vice chairperson of Demosisto before leaving the party in 2018. Yuen was elected District Councillor of the Tin Wan District, before her arrest in January 2021 for participating in the “35+” democratic primaries to represent the democratic camp of the Hong Kong Island constituency. Incident: Organising and participating in unofficial primary elections for the Hong Kong Legislative Council in July 2020
Charge: Knowingly participating in an unauthorised assembly

Sentencing: 4 months’ imprisonment (The Standard)
