Michael Pang Cheuk-kei became an entrepreneur after graduating from the University of Hong Kong with a degree in Social Science in 2015. Pang started the ‘Youth Business Alliance’ in 2016 to support young people who wish to start their own businesses. Pang also took part in major protests such as the anti-Hong Kong Express Rail Link movement, anti-national education protests, and the 2014 Umbrella Movement. 

In 2019, Pang was elected as a member of the District Council representing the Stanley and Shek O districts. Pang was arrested in January 2021 for his participation in the “35+” unofficial primary elections in July 2020. (Photo: Stand News)

    Incident: Organising and participating in unofficial primary elections for the Hong Kong Legislative Council in July 2020
