Patrick Lam Shiu-tung, the former chief editor of Stand News, was arrested on 29 December 2021 under the Crimes Ordinance for conspiring to publish seditious publications. The next day, Lam did not make an appearance for mention at the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court due to health reasons. Lam was denied bail.

  Sentencing: 21 months’ imprisonment (SCMP)
