  Incident: Koo was planning to protest the December 2023 District Council elections

  Sentencing: 2 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months

• Charge: Attempting to do or making any preparation to do an act or acts with seditious intention

  Incident: Koo was planning to demonstrate outside Beijing’s Liaison Office to protest the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

  Sentencing: 9 months’ imprisonment (sentence issued while he had stage four cancer)
