Garry Pang Moon Yuen, Youtuber
Gary Pang Moon Yuen will be mentioned for his charges of doing an act or acts with a seditious intention and uttering seditious words. Pang, a Youtuber, was accused of producing videos with an intent to bring “hatred,” “contempt” or “disaffection” against the judiciary and to raise “discontent or disaffection” among the city’s residents and to “counsel disobedience” of the law. Court of First Instance (10:30, No.7, 5/F) - Application for Bail
Gary Fan Kwok Wai, Former member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and District Council
Gary Fan Kwok Wai will apply for bail at court. Fan is among the 47 pro-democracy figures charged with “conspiracy to commit subversion” by organising or taking part in an unofficial legislative primary election in July 2020. His bail application was previously denied on 7 September 2021. (HCCP 454/2021)
Court of First Instance (14:30, No.11, 6/F) - Handing down reasons for decision
Fung Wai Kong, Former Executive Editor-in-chief of Apple Daily
A decision will be handed down regarding the denial of Fung Wai Kong's bail application on 18 December 2021. The executive editor-in-chief of Apple Daily is facing charges of conspiracy to commit collusion with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security and conspiracy to print, publish, sell, offer for sale, distribute, display and/or reproduce seditious publications. Court of First Instance (10:30, No.1, 3/F)
Gary Fan Kwok Wai, Former member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and the District Council
Gary Fan Kwok Wai will apply for bail at court. Fan is among the 47 pro-democracy figures charged with “conspiracy to commit subversion” by organising or taking part in an unofficial legislative primary election in July 2020. His bail application was previously denied on 7 September 2021. (HCCP 454/2021)
Court of First Instance (14:30, No.28, 12/F)
Lester Shum, Former member of the Tsuen Wan District Council and Former deputy secretary-general of the Hong Kong Federation of Students
Lester Shum will be in court to undergo mitigation and sentencing procedures. He was charged with contempt of court for his Facebook post commemorating and calling on people to take revenge upon the death of Alex Chow Tsz Lok, who he suspected was killed by the police in November 2019. Shum violated a High Court interim injunction which banned anyone from posting online materials that encourage or incite violence to harm others or damage property. He apologised to the court on 21 January 2022. (HCMP 1158/2021)

Tommy Yuen Man On, Pro-democracy singer and activist
Tommy Yuen Man On will be mentioned at court for his charge of doing an act or acts with seditious intention. Yuen's social media posts and online concert were accused of inciting citizens' hatred towards the Hong Kong government. (WKCC 626/2022)

District Court (14:30, No.25, 8/F) - Sentencing
Allan Chung Kin Ping
Allan Chung Kin Ping will be sentenced for his charges of organising an unauthorised assembly and knowingly taking part in an unauthorised assembly. He was accused of organising "Reclaim Yuen Long" protests on 26 and 27 July 2019. He pleaded guilty on 11 April 2022. (DCCC 842/2021)
Court of First Instance (14:30, No.23, 10/F) - Hand down decision
Jimmy Lai
A decision will be handed down regarding Jimmy Lai's charge of criminal intimidation. In September 2021, Lai was acquitted by West Kowloon magistrate May Chung for intimidating an Oriental Daily reporter during the June 4 candlelight vigil at Victoria Park in 2017. The Department of Justice appealed but High Court Justice Andrew Chan dismissed it in December 2021 as the Department of Justice was unable to prove errors of law were made by Chung in order to overturn the judgment to acquit Lai. They will undergo 'transfer paper' proceedings at court for their charges of conspiracy to publish and/or reproduce seditious publications. Chung and Lam were arrested on December 30 2021 following a police raid on the pro-democracy media organisation and were denied bail. (WKCC5281/2021)

West Kowloon Magistrates' Court (10:30am, No.3, 4/F) - Mention
Koo Sze Yiu, veteran pro-democracy activist
Koo Sze Yiu will be mentioned for his charge of attempting to do or making any preparation to do an act or acts with seditious intention. Koo was arrested on 4 February ahead of a planned protest against the Beijing Winter Olympics outside government offices. (WKCC481/2022)
West Kowloon Magistrates' Court (3:15pm, No.3, 4/F)
Chan Tai Sum, Delivery worker
Chan Tai Sum will undergo 'transfer paper' proceedings for his charge of incitement to take part in an unlawful assembly. He was accused of inciting people on Facebook and Telegram to gather on the streets and commit violent acts as part of a "Christmas eve revolution" in 2021. (WKCC5115/2021)

Court of First Appeal (9:30am, No.28, 12/F) - Consent Summons
Joshua Wong Chi Fung
Agnes Chow Ting
Joshua Wong Chi Fung and Agnes Chow Ting will file a consent summons against the Commissioner of Police, complaining that four court warrants granted to police to access their phones and personal information at the city’s Facebook office had trampled on their privacy. Wong and Chow had their phones seized when they were arrested on 30 August 2019 for offences relating to an unauthorised assembly outside Wan Chai police headquarters on 21 June 2019. (HCAL 659/2020)

Allan Chung Kin Ping
Allan Chung Kin Ping will enter a plea for his charges of organising an unauthorised assembly and knowingly taking part in an unauthorised assembly. He was accused of organising "Reclaim Yuen Long" protests on 26 and 27 July 2019. (DCCC 842/2021)

District Court (9;30am, No.21, 7/F) - Sentencing
Keith Fong Chung Yin
Keith Fong Chung Yin will be handed his sentence for his charge of resisting a police officer and perverting the course of public justice. The former student union president at Hong Kong Baptist University was arrested for purchasing 10 laser points at a Hong Kong flea market during the 2019 protests. His charge of possessing offensive weapons at a public place was later cleared due to lack of evidence.

The decision to deny bail to Frankie Fung Tat Chun will be handed down. Fung is among the 47 pro-democracy figures charged with “conspiracy to commit subversion” by organising or taking part in an unofficial legislative primary election in July 2020.
