Hong Kong Watch Canada celebrates New Year and promotes Youth Initiative Program at HongKonger Community Centre Toronto

On Saturday, 30 December 2023, Hong Kong Watch Canada joined the New Year party at the HongKonger Community Centre Toronto to celebrate the arrival of 2024 with more than 100 Hong Kongers in Canada.

We set up a booth to promote our Youth Initiative Program 2024. A parliamentary intern, who was selected through the Youth Initiative Canadian Parliamentary Scheme last summer, shared with participants how to secure a parliamentary internship through the program and what an intern does in Parliament.
