Hong Kong Watch organises parliament tour for BNOs and Q&A session with MPs

As part of Hong Kong Watch’s civic and political education series for BNOs, Hong Kong Watch offered a discounted tour of the Houses of Parliament, which successfully took place on Saturday 15th October. Following the tour on the Saturday, Hong Kong Watch held an one-hour Q&A with MPs on Monday 17th October, in a parliamentary committee room. Sam Goodman, Hong Kong Watch’s Director of Policy and Advocacy chaired the discussion with Fiona Bruce MP from the Conservative Party.

The objective of this tour and Q&A session is to educate Hong Kongers about the workings of the British parliamentary system and increase their awareness of how democracy works in practice.
