New Youtube Series launched: In Conversation with Benedict Rogers - Episode 1: Martin Lee

We are very excited to launch a new interview series: "In Conversation with Benedict Rogers", in which Hong Kong Watch's Chairman and Co-founder Benedict Rogers will interview prominent Hong Kong supporters from around the world, including Hong Kong activists, parliamentarians from the UK and Canada and congressmen from the US.

And we are very honoured to have Martin Lee, founder of the Hong Kong Democratic Party, debuting our first episode of this new series. In this interview, Benedict Rogers asked Martin Lee the significance of Sino-British Joint Declaration, Basic Law and Xi Jinping's white paper to understand Hong Kong's political situation. Martin also shared what he would say to the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson if he was in the same room with him. The interview also covers Martin's thoughts as he was arrested 2 weeks ago for his participation in protest movement last year.
