Benedict Rogers, CEO of Hong Kong Watch, was interviewed on LBC 14 November 2020 in response to the disqualification of four pro-democracy legislators and the resignation of all pro-democracy legislators in Hong Kong that took place last week.

“This, now, is one of the further last nails in the coffin of Hong Kong’s freedoms,” Benedict said. “It removes any opposition from the legislature, it turns the legislature into a puppet, a rubber-stamp, just a local branch of the National People’s Congress.”
