Hong Kong Watch CEO briefs Polish MPs, civil society and media on human rights in Hong Kong

Today, our co-founder and Chief Executive Benedict Rogers was in Warsaw briefing members of the Parliament of Poland, and civil society and media, about the human rights crisis in Hong Kong and China.

Mr Rogers met with Polish MP Kacper Płażyński to discuss Hong Kong, including the trial of Jimmy Lai, Article 23, threats to freedom of religion or belief, and the deportation of Polish national Aleksandra Bielakowska of Reporters Without Borders.

He also addressed a breakfast meeting of the International Republican Institute, and was interviewed on Polish television TV Republika, Polish state television TVP World and Common Sense Generation podcast, about human rights in Hong Kong and the wider situation in China.

今天,香港監察共同創辦人兼行政總監羅傑斯(Benedict Rogers)在華沙向波蘭國會議員、民間團體和傳媒簡報香港及中國人權危機。

羅傑斯會見波蘭國會議員Kacper Płażyński,討論香港議題,包括黎智英案、23條、宗教或信仰自由所面臨威脅,以及無國界記者代表、波蘭公民Aleksandra Bielakowska被遞解出境一事。

此外,他就香港人權狀況及中國更廣泛局勢,在國際共和學會(International Republican Institute)的早餐會上發言,並接受波蘭電視台TV Republika、波蘭國家電視台TVP WorldCommon Sense Generation播客訪問。
