Benedict Rogers speaks at three rallies to commemorate the June 4 Tiananmen Square Massacre

This year marked the 33rd anniversary of the June 4 Tiananmen Square massacre. A number of Hong Kongers groups in London held rallies in Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus and the Chinese Embassy to pay tribute to the students and activists killed by the Chinese Communist Party, and to express their discontent with the dictatorial regime. The rallies were supported by Tibetan and Uyghur groups.

Hong Kong Watch’s Chief Executive Benedict Rogers was also invited to speak at the rallies.
